Edit may 10th 2014: changing and updating things for the re-opening of Misidori high :3 I may continue to change things as they update the journals, so this may not be how the final written protion of the app looks DX I really like the improvement in her design though...

and I'm really sorry, but I wasn't able to eyedrop the colours D: the program I use doesn't let you put the colours in like that I hope that's ok, and I tried my best to get them to match up. (although my style of shading always makes things look darker than they are...)

Height: 5'9" or 1.75m

Personality: Rachel is very distant to all people but her brother. She will only talk when spoken too, and although she will hold a conversation, she does not go out of her way to be friendly. She is very clever, and can figure out tricks and problems quickly, however she will keep these answers to herself, and doesn't go out of her way to help people. She is also very disciplined when it comes to her hobbies or interests, so although she couldn't care less about school, she will always find time to practice Karate.

Rachel is very apathetic towards any situation that she can't benefit from, not caring if it goes well or poorly. However, if she can use the situation to her advantage then she will try her best to manipulate it to the best of her ability. She is not the best at manipulation yet, however she is very good at reading a situation.


History: Her parents moved to Japan from England due to their job shortly after giving birth, so she never got to see her homeland. However, due to her skin colour, she always stuck out in a crowd, making her socially awkward. Rachel tried to avoid other people, however despite this she had two close friends when she was young, Yoko Amada and Suzuka Hinamori. Unfortunately, Yoko moved away in grade 1, and Suzuka grew distant from Rachel, not wanting to be seen with her. Rachel saw this as a betrayal from both her friends, and started to grow distant. She stopped caring about school, and didn't interact with the other children her age. whenever adults came to confront her about it, she would lie, and she learned how to use a façade to make them go away. She started introducing herself as Ran, hoping that it would make people stop ostracizing her.

Her only real happiness came when her brother Keisuke was born, when she was 7 years old. Rachel had to care for her brother most of the time, due to her parents being busy. They spent most of their time at work, and left Rachel and Keisuke alone. As he grew older he continued to rely on Rachel, as she could understand what it was like to stand out. To this day, he is still the only person she will open up to.

By the time she was in 7th grade, she had become so distant from others that bullying didn't even bother her. when others teased her, or pushed her around, she just dealt with it. She had started karate to keep others away, but it came back to hurt her one day when she was cornered by a group of bullies. She managed to beat most of them away, however their leader pulled a knife on her, damaging her eye beyond repair. Once this happened, she rarely showed up to school anymore, skipping out to practice her skills and lie around all day.


Why They're Attending Misidori: her parents became fed up with her apathetic behavior and cold attitude towards them, as well as her frequent skipping of school. When they heard about Misidori's delinquent reform program they signed her up without a second thought.

Likes: Her brother, winning, being in control, the violin, classical music, green tea
